	Santiago Truck Trail (STT) to the Luge and down - with Daylight Video! December 13, 2009 Our Saturday ride was rained-out and Sunday morning the rain had let up just enough for us to sneak a ride in on the STT/Luge loop. The trails held up to the previous day's rain and were in amazing condition. We even got a little sunshine at the end! Oh, good times...
	Santiago Truck Trail (STT) to the Luge and down - with Video! December 9, 2009 Craig, Dave, Frits, John and Mike braved the cold for tonight's ride. I shot some video which didn't come out too bad considering the lack of light. We did however miss Greg at the Flag!
	Blackstar Canyon to the Main Divide to Motorway and down December 6, 2009 25+ miles, 4,500 feet of elevation gain, over three hours of pedaling time, rain and freezing cold made this ride one for the books.
	Maple Springs Road - Up and Back December 5, 2009 We had bigger plans for this ride, like heading over to the Motorway and down but it wasn't meant to be. First off, Bob's rear brake master cylinder decided to become non functional before the ride even rolled off. Then Greg's frame broke about half way back down and Mike got a front flat. Very strange morning but the overall ride and weather were great. Shawn B. showed up too (that's him on the left) and proved himself very strong.
	Santiago Truck Trail (STT) to the Luge and down December 2, 2009 Greg, John, Dave, Frits and Craig rode on this evening. And Greg served up his special margaritas to smooth our drop down the Luge.
	Santiago Canyon Roadie Ride November 29, 2009 The Santa Ana's kicked in and made this ride a real challenge.
	Santiago Oaks and the Weir Canyon Loop (and Irvine Park too!) November 28, 2009 Add the Weir Loop to any ride and the ride instantly becomes Semi-Epic!
	Whiting Ranch and the STT - Luge November 27, 2009 We hooked up with four riders from the San Diego area who had heard that the Luge was a great ride but had never been on the ride before. We gave them the full tour and everyone had a great time.

	Night Ride October 28, 2009 Our first night ride of the '09-'10 season and for most of us it was our first time riding this loop at night. For Ryan and Sherri E. it was their first night ride! It was fun. It was also Bob Walker's Birthday so naturally we had to celebrate at Tustin Brewhouse after the ride.

	Mammoth! August 21-22, 2009 The OCriders did their annual trip to Mammoth Mountain for that special weekend of big hit bikes, gondolas, rocks, drops, thin air and just a wee bit of alcohol. This year the weather was about as perfect as it could be. It was also the beginning of a new event that Mitch Bynum pioneered; the Bed Huck. Naturally enough he won!

	2009 Solvang Century March 14, 2009 Craig Erion, Dave Crampton, Frits Kluvers, Greg Beauton and John Benner did this year's Solvang Century. The route was excellent with a lot of open road riding; very few stop signs or traffic lights. The climbing was a total of 5,181 feet but it was spread out over the course so it never seemed too difficult. On the left Frits gives a young rider some pointers about clip-less pedals.

	Peter's Canyon to the Santiago Oaks and back... January 31, 2009 Way too much fun on this morning's ride. Beautiful weather brought out lots of newbie riders on hundred dollar "mountain" bikes. And Fred joined in so he could continue his spanking of us on all of the climbs. The guy is awesome! The YouTube video is pretty funny too.

	Santiago Truck Trail to the Luge and down January 25, 2009 It's only a 7.3 mile ride with about 1,400' of elevation gain but it is one of our favorites. It rained the day before and most of the week prior but as always on the STT after a rain the trail conditions were excellent. And the Luge was in superb condition. Good times.

	Peter's Canyon and the Santiago Oaks January 9, 2009 16 miles on this ride. The Peter's - Oaks loop is always a good workout with a rewarding downhill called the Chutes. Gerrit had an unfortunate incident with a cactus. I'm thinking the cactus won. See the video of Kim tending to poor Gerrit. 	Whiting Ranch to the STT (Santiago Truck Trail), down the Luge and back January 2, 2009 This is always a ball-buster of a ride. It's 15 miles with 3,000' of elevation gain. We did our share of tidying up the flag pole at the top of the Luge. Good stuff.
